DMB has been named the Visiting Artist for the 2009-2010 season at the Lambda Players theatre company in Sacramento, California.

DMB starred in Another Square Production's presentation of Michael Cristofer's Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning play The Shadow Box. Performances were November 6 - December 12.

DMB is teaching two online English courses for students at Griffin Technical College during the fall quarter.

DMB performed the role of Piero in a college production of Charles Mee's Big Love at Penn State in Altoona. The American College Theatre Festival selected this production to be performed at the Merriam Theatre in Philadelphia. The show was directed by Robin Reese.

DMB's romantic play Temporary Heroes will be performed in Odessa, Texas, opening on April 14.

DMB's popular play Pensacola will be performed at the Lambda Players Theatre in Sacramento, CA from February 19 - March 20.

DMB's one-act play And The Winner Is (now in its twenty-second production!) was performed at Sand Creek High School in Colorado Springs, CO on December 16.

DMB's one-act play Are You All Right in There? (now in its twentieth production!) was performed at Saint Bede Academy in Peru, IL on November 13 and 14.

Filmmaker Sam Wagner recently adapted DMB's one-act play Just Before the Drop into a provocative short film. Look for Just Before the Drop at film festivals around the world.

DMB's one-page play Taking Off was nationally selected to be performed in the Off-Broadway festival: ZERO TO SIXTY IN ONE PAGE. This show was directed by Rolando Ramos and starred Selena Ambush and Maria Canela. This was the New York premiere of the play.

DMB's 10-minute play Number 76 was selected for the Mid-America Dramatists Lab and was performed at the 2009 Mid-America Theatre Conference in Chicago. This production was directed by Marissa Guillen and starred Marcelo Carrascossa and Stacy Joyce. Brett Janecek served as the dramaturg.

DMB's one-act play Are You All Right in There? (now in its nineteenth production!) was performed at Thornton Fractional North High School in Calumet City, IL on March 12, 13 and 14.

DMB's one-act play And The Winner Is (now in its twenty-first production!) was performed at the THS Auditorium in Thibodaux, Louisiana on March 28.

DMB's one-act play Hour Glass was performed by the Dewdney Players at the Highwood Memorial Center in High River, Alberta, Canada on April 17 and 18 at 7:30p. This marked the Canadian premiere of this play!

Hour Glass also received another landmark production in Johannesburg, South Africa at the Franklin Players One-Act Festival on April 3. This production was directed by John Atkinson and starred Gillian Klette as Persephone and Hennie Greyvenstein as Hayden.

DMB's critically acclaimed one-act play Threnody was performed at two theatre festivals in Alberta, Canada: at the Zone 5W Drama Festival in Strathmore on April 25 and at the Provincial Drama Festival in Red Deer on May 8. These productions marked the Canadian premiere of this play!

DMB's popular 10-minute play Johnny Ramirez Really Wants To Kiss Me was selected for The Playwright's Slam and will be presented at the 2009 AATE/ATHE Conference in New York.

DMB's celebrated all-female play Sky Lines was presented as a staged reading on December 8 at Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts in Altoona, PA. The performance was directed by Selena Ambush and starred Kate Caverno, Katherine Feliz and Olivia Gunn.
